310/365 - Happy Birthday
June 6, 2014. I woke up expecting the night to bring a show where I played with both of my bands, Tijuana Jai Alai's final show being one of them. As often happens with Junior's, the show was double booked, and we were cancelled. Squared Off managed to jump on the bill at the Liar's Club, though, so I got to see a lot of the friends I would have missed and celebrate Germ Ripper's birthday, as well as see his band Brickwall Vultures. As you can see, there was cake to be had, and Germ and Jimmy Knuckles, also a birthday boy, received a rousing "Happy Birthday."

309/365 - Panda
308/365 - TRU
June 4, 2014. True or False, Donald? Your ego wasn't satisfied with the second-tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, and after five years you just needed to mar the gleaming glass façade with your name in giant letters. I don't know what's keeping the job from being finished, but it's a shame they didn't start at the other end and leave "RUMP" hanging there.
306/365 - Spinal Injury
305/365 - Falso Cumpleaño
June 1, 2014. Tijuana Jai Alai rehearsed for our final show way out in Volo, IL, then hung out a bit at El Puerto on Fox Lake. Gary convinced the waitstaff that it was Paloma's birthday, and a sombrero, a song, and a flan came out. We play for the last time at Junior's June 6 with Squared Off (me again), Malafacha, and Fire 9. Hooray! If I ever say I'm joining another band, shake your finger at me while giving me the stinkeye. I'm sick of this - at this particular time.
304/365 - Exterior Shot
