February 8, 2013. Taking photos in the snow downtown, I found myself at Millennium Park unable to resist the allure of The Cloud Gate, the giant mirrored bean that dares you to not take a picture. The snow made it a little different, and justified the photos to me. As I was leaving, a bride and groom, with photographer in tow, arrived with no apparent regard for the weather conditions. They took photos at The Bean, then near the Pritzker Pavilion, and then went up the pedestrian bridge that leads to the Modern Wing of the Art Institute, which must have been the site of their wedding. I continued shooting until my camera batteries gave out, and went back home.
