Day 219 - Matt Seifert
April 6, 2012. I saw a band, Phantom Works, which includes a friend of a friend on drums at the Township in Logan Square. All three bands (Maestro and Nonagon were the others) were really good. I was reminded of 1992 and 1993 to such a degree that I felt my old band, Naked Vanilla was due on stage at any time. I didn't know I really had a musical association with the time period. When we were playing it, it felt like it came from other music and other times, but Friday night it was right in my face sounding like 1992 at the Cannibal Club in Austin.
