Today I went to the Hideout Block Party where I caught the end of a set by Kids These Days, and sets by The Eternals, Booker T Jones, Jon Langford and the Burlington Welsh Men's Chorus, Mavis Staples, and Andrew Bird. It was a fantastic day in which I was reduced to tears when Booker T, two-thirds of the way through an instrumental version of "Hey-Ya" switched into "I've Been Loving You Too Long (To Stop Now)." I was not the only one, as you may guess.
