June 18, 2014. Walking up Michigan Avenue on my lunch break, I found myself navigating crowds of senior citizens. They were coming from Symphony Center and loading onto buses from retirement homes. I've had this experience before, so I'm guessing the Chicago Symphony has daytime programs for seniors (and students perhaps), from time to time.
